Gachanoid 2: Blender Addon Documentation

Introduction

Gachanoid 2 is a Blender addon designed to bring Gacha Life 2 customization into 3D space. It allows users to create and animate Gacha OCs with extensive customization options, including physics-based elements and a full color system. Key Features

1. Customization Options Full Gacha Life 2-style customization (excluding effects, capes, and props). Physics-based elements (hair, tail, wings) with toggleable physics. Full color customization for skin, clothing, and accessories.
2. Pose Mode & Animation Customization

When in Pose Mode, the addon switches to Animation Customization, which includes:

Basic Features (hand gestures, mouth types, eye expressions, etc.).  Layering (adjusting right/left hand and leg layers).  Switches (IK/FK toggles, flipping body parts, shadow controls).  Operations (eye open/close controls, with future updates planned).  Physics Toggles (enable/disable physics for hair, tail, and wings).

1. How It Works Accessed via Shift+Q, the Gachanoid Menu includes: Import Gachanoid (adds a default OC and camera). Save OC Defaults (Beta) (stores default values for animation). Prep Project (prepares the scene for customization). Enable/Disable Selections (locks/unlocks mesh editing). Two main panels: Gachanoid Panel (Body, Hair, Face, Head, Clothing, Extra). Gachanoid Colors Panel (handles all color adjustments).

Important Notes Color System Differences

The "Extra Color" variable is not a shade but an additional color for parts not editable in Gacha Life 2.  Use the "Shade Colors" tab in the Gachanoid Colors panel to adjust shading.

Clothing & UI Optimization

The upper and lower clothing menus are merged into the Clothing tab to save space.

More Operations tab functionalities.  Possible expansion of physics and animation controls.
